Teotihuacan + 2 temples

We headed out bright and early to explore more of Mexico City!! Elder Messerly had to return to the office so we just took Sister Messerly with us. Our new friend Ezra drove us around for the day and the sights were spectacular.

Teotihuacan.
This is the most visited archaeological sight in Mexico and is home to numerous pyramids built around 200 BC!

^^Pyramid of the Sun

McKay came home with a souvenir that makes the sound of a Jaguar when you blow into it.

^^Basilica of our Lady Guadalupe

McKay stayed in the car and watched Moana with Grandma while we explored.  You can't tell much in this picture, but this Cathedral is sinking!! You can easily feel the incline walking into the building and see huge cracks on the walls. That's what you get when you build a city on top of a lake!

^^we ended our touring for the day with a building on a firm foundation ;)
How cool is it that the Mexico City temple was constructed to replicate pyramids found in that area?!

We live in the most beautiful world and all the marvels are gifts from our Heavenly Father, exploring as many as possible is our favorite!
