Project: Quiet Book

A few weeks ago, I started thinking about what we should do for McKay for Christmas.  We are not a big gift family, but I wanted McKay to have something to open Christmas morning and I wanted it to be inexpensive but something he would treasure.

I had a Quiet Book on McKay's gift list but I couldn't justify buying one and I really didn't want to make one.  I thought of all the different pages I would want to make for him and the various accessories that each page would require and those supplies started to add up, especially when the supplies wouldn't be used for more than a single page.

So I came up with an idea that only had me make ONE page.

In come Project: Quiet Book!

I asked my friends and they asked theirs and before I knew it, there were 17 (!!!!) moms who were interested in making Quiet Books. Each participant is making 17 of the same page and then we will all get together and swap our pages and go home with 16 news ones...all before Christmas.

^^These are my 17 pages, and here is a list of the 16 other pages being made:

Bead Counting
Puzzle
Buttoning
Potato Head
Clock
Textures
Painting
Gum Ball Color Matching
Zippers
Chain
Farm Animal Puppets
Tying a shoe
Tic Tac Toe
Shapes
Ice Cream Cone
Cars

I am so excited about the final project and have loved making my pages and most of all...
I'm thrilled I only spent $8.32!
