Christmas Eve

Today was a good one.
There truly is something magical about being at home for the Holidays; we have loved being in Provo this season.

This morning I snuck away to JCP to receive and shop with a $10 off a $10 purchase coupon.  They were running this promo yesterday as well so in the past 48 hours, with the help of Rich, four of those coupons have been through my hands. Four blouses, one pair of pants and two swimsuit cover-ups (our place in Superior has four pools...) for $25 was pretty awesome.

At 1:30 we had the Cooper's over for lunch.  We missed Rich's local brothers but it was fun to have his sister + family over for homemade stew and homemade rolls.

By the time dinner came around, the last thing I wanted to do was cook more so this is what McKay's dinner looked like:
^^He originally was pulling out one chip at a time but then dumped the whole canister on his plate and I couldn't stop laughing.

^^Rich and I ordered Chinese and as long as we remember we would love to make this a tradition!

Then we decided to let the kids open a gift.  The kids both got books and we want to remember to do this every year as well! It was perfect to settle them down and to help get ready for bed.  Jammies (matching with Migliori cousins) and books for Christmas Eve win!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
